Early Access: Update 8, Patch 1 – Class & Gear Fixes

Greetings, Aces!

We’ve tightened up combat, gear, and gobos alike to keep every swing, slash, and setting feeling just right. Today’s patch is all about precision—cleaner status effects, smarter enemies, and quality-of-life tweaks that make Towerborne run smoother while we cook up the next big thing.

Shipping these fixes ended up causing some other issues … as of now, Loot Rush wrapped a week earlier than planned—for those dodge-roll hungry Aces scooping up shinys, our humblest apologies for the rug-pull! We know that caught some of you mid-run, but please know that we’ll be leveling up systems across the board.

  • Class Skills

    • Sentinel

      • Fixed an issue that caused bleed from Prickly Strikes received from Sanguine Assault to only lasts for 2 seconds instead of 4 seconds

      • Fixed an issue that caused Sanguine Assault to activate after exploding 6 stacks of bleed instead of 5

      • Fixed an issue that caused Bleed inflicted by Shield Surf to last 3 seconds instead of 4 seconds

    • Pyroclast

      • Fixed an issue that caused Stable Footing to not provide Stability for the correct duration

    • Rockbreaker

      • Fixed an issue that caused Focus Skill related perks to not function properly when using the Jackhammer Focus Skill

    • Shadowstriker

      • Fixed an issue that caused Shooting Stars to apply double the amount of status effects per projectile hit

  • Gear

    • Fixed an issue that caused the Shroom Ventilator Legendary helmet to apply permanent Poison Immunity

    • Fixed an issue with the Duelist Legendary Weapon that caused stun to apply 100% of the time instead of 20%

    • Fixed an issue where the Crimson Reaver Legendary Weapon did not apply Vulnerability

      • Fixed an issue that caused the buff totems to spawn much more frequently than intended

  • Time to complete and total score (where applicable) is now displayed on the End of Mission recap screen.
  • Changes made to Settings no longer revert after linking accounts
