Charge the Heat Gauge to ignite every strike, bathing foes in lingering fire while a built-in Grit frame lets you shrug off interruptions and finish each colossal arc. With sweeping crowd control and escalating Burn damage the Pyroclast embodies methodical devastation—perfect for Aces who relish turning raw force into a blazing battlefield.

WEAPON: WARCLUB

The Warclub isn’t subtle—it’s the weapon for anyone who enjoys hearing their enemies go “crunch.” Slow, satisfying strikes deal huge damage and literally set your foes on fire. It’s not fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. If the phrase “brute force” appeals, you’ve found your match.

  • Big hits that demand commitment but pay off explosively.
  • Crowd control, fiery style.
  • Ignite enemies—because roasting foes never gets old.

 

These are Skills that modify the weapon mechanic (the RB button). Could be expansions to the mechanic, additional options, or even a full on change that makes it feel like something else entirely. 

  • Sear: When the Weapon Meter is full, press RB to activate Sear (12s). All attacks inflict Burn (3s) while Sear is active. Burn: deals low damage 4 times per second

  • Searing Burst: When activating Sear, trigger a huge explosion that deals damage and inflicts Burn (3s) on each enemy hit. Burn: deals low damage 4 times per second

  • Infernal Touch: When activating Sear, grant nearby allies Fired Up (6s). Fired Up: Inflict Burn (2s) per hit Burn: deals low damage 4 times per second

  • Preheat: Press RB to automatically charge Sear by 1% for 10 seconds.

  • Pyro Surge: Press RB while attacking to quickly recover and charge Sear. While Sear is active, press RB while attacking to perform an area attack around the Ace.

  • Persistent Pyre: Increases the duration of Sear by 4s.

  • Persistent Pyre II: Increases the duration of Sear by 4s.

  • Hot Air: While Sear is active, deal 15% more damage to Airborne enemies.

  • Ember Lunge: While Sear is active, press RB while Evading to perform an explosive flying kick.

  • Ember Cyclone: While Sear is active, press RB while Airborne to perform a spinning attack.

  • Ember Spike: While Sear is active, any attacks that impact the ground cause a long-range tremor that travels across the ground and explodes on the first enemy hit. This attack Block Breaks.

  • Volcanic Wrath: While Sear is active, press RB to use Volcanic Wrath. This attack Block Breaks and consumes Weapon Meter with each use.

  • Thermal Amplification: Gain +5% additional Weapon Meter when attacking enemies or charging Sear, and +50% Weapon Meter from incoming attacks.

  • Stable Footing: When activating Sear, gain Stability (5s). Stability: Negates reactions from incoming hits

  • Intense Heat: +25% Burn DMG while Sear is active.

  • Ember Cannon: While Sear is active, fire a long-range projectile when performing the Light Evade Attack Finisher.

These are Skills that modify your most basic combat skills. Need to do a launcher? Cool! Want to dodge in the air? Recovery quickly when knocked down? This is where you do it. All classes have the same Standard Moveset Skills.

  • Airborne Shift: Press B while Airborne to Evade.

  • Heavy Evade Attack: Press Y after Evading to perform a Heavy Evade Attack (B,Y). Evade canceling an attack followed by a Heavy Attack will perform a unique Combo Finisher.

  • Light Evade Attack: Press X after Evading to perform a Light Evade Attack (B,X). Evade canceling an attack followed by a Light Attack will perform a unique Combo Finisher.

  • Airborne Rebound: Press A to recover after getting hit while Airborne.

  • Rising Recovery: Press A to quickly recover after getting knocked down. Pressing B will execute a Dodge Roll recovery instead.

  • Block Breaker: Hold Y to perform a Block Breaker attack.

  • Launcher: Hold X to perform a Launcher attack. Follow-up with X while the enemy is Airborne to to execute a flamethrower attack that inflicts Burn (3s). Pressing Y will perform the flamethrower attack diagonally.

  • Rising Strike: While laying on the ground, press any attack button (X or Y) to perform a recovery attack.

These are Skills that amplify various parts of your Class. It could be related to specific combos, could add additional moves to the kit that are specific to the class (new move, variation of a move, etc). This is where a lot of build crafting comes from.

  • Shattering Strikes: All Heavy Attack Combo Finishers now Block Break.

  • Crushing Momentum: Each hit of the Advanced Heavy Combo (XYYY) deals increasing Break Bar DMG, gaining +5% with each successive hit in the combo.

  • Fiery Cascade: Attacking Burning enemies spreads Burn (3s) to nearby enemies. Cooldown: 5s Burn: deals low damage 4 times per second

  • Combustive Finale: Heavy Combo Finisher (YYY) consumes all Burn stacks on the enemy, triggering an explosion. Each stack of Burn increases the explosion damage by 5%.

  • Cindercharge: All flamethrower attacks and Focus Skills inflict an additional stack of Burn (1s). +2s to the duration if the flamethrower attack scores a critical hit.

  • Scorched Blast: Trigger an explosion when attacking Burning enemies. Cooldown: 1s

  • Flame’s Embrace: +50% Burn Resistance. Defeating a Burning enemy causes Burn (3s) to be inflicted on the attacker. While burning, spread Burn (3s) to other enemies on contact. Burn: deals low damage 4 times per second

  • Unshakable Strength: +10% Strike DMG while Stability is active.

  • Whirlwind Bash: Upgrades the Air Light Attack to a horizontal spin attack that hits twice.

  • Cyclone Slam: Upgrades the Heavy Evade Attack to an area spin attack that Launches enemies and then smashes them to the ground. This attack Block Breaks.

Every weapon boasts a roster of high-impact techniques that consume Focus, a meter earned through skillful play. Equip any two outside combat, then unleash them mid-fight to redefine the encounter. Mixing and matching these abilities lets you tailor burst damage, crowd control, or mobility to the mission at hand.

  • Light Focus

    • Crimson Uppercut: Press LT+X to unleash a column of flame in a rising spin attack. Enemies are struck 4 times and Launched. Inflicts Burn (2s) on the final hit. Break Bar DMG: Medium

    • Blast Off: Press LT+X to fire a blast at the ground that Launches the Ace and nearby enemies. While in the air, the Ace will fire a second blast, damaging nearby enemies. Inflicts Burn (2s) on all enemies hit. Break Bar DMG: High

    • Wildfire: Press LT+X to spin the warclub vertically, pulling in enemies in front and dealing damage. The final blast inflicts Burn (2s) and Stun (2s). Break Bar DMG: Medium

  • Heavy Focus

    • Blazing Roar: Press LT+Y to unleash a stream of fire from the warclub that hits enemies multiple times and staggers them. Inflicts Burn (1s) on each hit and Burn (3s) on the final hit. This attack can be used while Airborne. Break Bar DMG: High

    • Seething Cyclone: Press LT+Y to spin around, hitting enemies up to 6 times. The Ace can move freely while spinning. This attack can only be interrupted by Unblockable attacks. Break Bar DMG: High

    • Mountain Splitter: Press LT+Y to slam the warclub on the ground, creating a seismic wave. Each strike increases the power of the wave, dealing damage to all enemies in front of the Ace. This attack inflicts Burn (5s) on the final hit. Break Bar DMG: High
