Hey, Founders –
First, thank you. This week Towerborne hit a big milestone by arriving on Xbox Game Preview – inviting more Aces to join the adventure, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome everyone to the Belfry!
During Early Access, Towerborne has grown tremendously and there’s plenty of game to play and bragging rights to earn. We know many of you are wondering about when we will turn on Achievements, and we want to share our plan with you.
TL;DR: Achievements are coming and, yes, they will be retroactive!
As we get work towards the inevitable 1.0 release, we have been preparing a full Achievement list that will go live simultaneously across all platforms.. These Achievements will honor your progress, skill, and the adventures you’ve taken throughout the world of Towerborne—and we want to make sure they truly matter.
We realize that it is incredibly important that every Achievement be retroactive. That means anything you’re doing right now—whether it’s mastering a class, exploring the world, or besting an Umbra’s test—will be remembered and count toward unlocking Achievements the moment they go live.
If you’ve already met the requirements, the Achievement will automatically be granted. No need to replay content or grind things out again. No matter what platform you play on, the Achievements will be the same. We will have more information to share in a future update about what you can expect from those.
Your Progress is Important and Permanent
We also want to reassure you: there will be no more wipes, resets, or loss of progress moving forward. All progression, gear, weapons , Umbra, and future achievements are yours to build upon going forward.
Your feedback, support, and enthusiasm have helped shape Towerborne into what it is today and it will continue to guide us as we continue to make this game for you!
So what are you waiting for? Your legacy isn’t going to build itself…
